There's some formatting issues that I plan on fixing for the next update, but since it's been so long I figured I'd just throw this one up. Let me know if it looks screwy for anybody. Everything is lined up to me but somebody on a different browser or viewing from a different resolution screen could have a problem I'm not aware about.

A couple of injury reports:

-Stuart Percy is week-to-week with a knee injury suffered on the 23rd. The injury isn't as bad as it first appeared, but he's definitely still going to miss some time. [Link]
-Greg McKegg re-joined Erie's line-up after missing just 2 games with a mild concussion. He has 3 assists in 3 games since returning.

Nice update, CarltonTheBear. Thanks.

Looks like they're all doing pretty well/respectably in terms of putting up points. I've yet to see any of them play this season for their respective clubs.

Mitchell Heard was not suspended for his hit on Percy, which comes as a surprise to some especially since the OHL has been handing out suspensions like they're candy on Halloween so far this year. Here's an explanation as to why and a fan-shot video of the hit (18 seconds in watch the puck pursuit at the end boards):

I think Shanny would've doled out 10 games for that one. To not have a suspension on that is insane. Someone's gonna have to get their neck broken first.

Agreed. Their reasoning is pretty nuts too if you ask me. Percy going into the boards wasn't a result of Heard's actions? Are you serious? And while the video posted isn't great, it sure looks like Percy didn't go down to his knee until Heard made contact.

Stu Percy named Majors captain.

The Leafs now have three prospects in the OHL who are captains of their teams (Percy, McKegg, and Carrick). Crescenzi wears the A at times with Kitchener, especially lately with their captain injured. Devane also wears an A since being sent down for his overage year.

Looks like Nicholls is putting together a fine season: 20gp, 26pts.

Browsing through all the CHL prospect player stats this morning and really there isn't a whole lot to be excited about as far as their seasons are going.  Nichols sure maybe, Devane having a good season and I hope he can become a solid 3rd or 4th line beast or even a poor man's Lucic.  Devane simply cannot find any guys who want to drop the mitts with him this season in the OHL, not surprised, he is a man amongst boys.

Percy signed to an ELC.

Strange timing, maybe the family needed some bread?

Not sure, I mean it's always good to lock up a player, but it is kind of strange that he was signed so soon.

Does he get cash up front on that deal? Signing bonuses or something?

Potentially, I think if they are on an ELC and playing in Junior they get some form of 'minor' payment too, no?

This contract doesn't officially kick in until July 1st, so, my guess is he doesn't get anything until then. Maybe part of the signing bonus, but that's it.

The Record's Rangers blog is reporting that Crescenzi is out indefinitely with a hand injury. Leafs medical staff have had a look at it already and will re-evaluate with the Rangers in 2-3 weeks.

As an aside: He's been playing great so far, playing at a PPG pace for a defenseman.
