MacLean switches up his line combos practically every other shift. Lazar was on both the PP and PK against the Preds.

Train tracks. That was one of the most complete performances I've ever seen from Karlsson. He just gets better and better.

There doesn't seem to be any hesitation to scratch guys who are dead weight or struggling to find their game. Condra & Greening have yet to play a game, both were terrible last year after getting shiny new contracts. Cowen has played like a dog since his mini holdout last year and looks like the odd man out tonight after struggling against Nashville & Tampa. It's only been two games but the hole Methot's absence has left is noticeable. I'm sure Larry Kelly has made Murray aware of it.

I actually thought with Bolland, Thornton, Ekblad and a full season of Luongo, they'd be a pretty decent team this year.

Don't forget Boyes / Campbell! They also have Erik Gudbranson who I think is going to be an absolute stud defensemen especially if he gets traded the hell out of there. Can see why Luongo wanted to go back - talk about the polar opposite of Vancouver - I guess he's satisfied with his Gold medal and lofty social media status as a career synopsis.

ADD - Forgot about Huberdeau...the season is still only 3 games old. It's not like they don't have talent there they are actually better off than several other teams. Playing to 7K certainly won't help - basically have zero home ice advantage. Were they giving away that many free tickets there before?

Not only that, but in Florida's 5 worst attendances ever, Ottawa appears for a second time. That's almost as embarassing as having a hockey arena in Kanata.
