They're short forwards at the moment. Gaudette, Abramov, Hunt, Douglas and Anderson have been traded. McMann, SDA, Robertson are currently injured. They have lots of healthy D right now.
 
He needs to pick up the scoring pace but if Matthews can get to 40 goals (10 more) he would tie Rick Vaive for 5th in all-time goal scoring.

I think it's perfectly reasonable.  I think it's also something that wouldn't have happened if the refs did their jobs and called a penalty after the 3rd or fourth time Tavares got whacked.

Money well spent. Loved seeing that from him actually because he doesn't usually show a lot of emotion out there. If the refs did their jobs, this doesn't happen. That dig to the back of the leg was the straw it seems.
