9.2% on the power play?

I just went through the NHL stats to see what the worst powerplay was. They go all the way to the 1997-1998 season and 9.2% would be the worst powerplay percentage in that period. Granted, it would just sneak under Tampa who were 9.3% in that 97-98 season. But typically speaking the worst PP team in a season was at about 13%. Since the lockout the lowest PP% was Chicago in 06-07 when they finished at 11.8%.

Their PP% in the month of January is 2.9%. They went 13 straight games from Dec 29-Jan 26 without a goal on the man advantage. They finally broke that slump in their last game against the Bruins.

At 9.2%, hypothetically a team playing Florida could take 30 consecutive 2 minute penalties in the course of a 60 minute game, and Florida would still only score an average of 2.76 goals a game.

Gleason got rammed into the boards head first, and yet no one not even all the a-holes in the press that are so quick to condem our guys when we do it, have even said a thing???. and here he is day to day with a sore neck.

If this was a Tuesday game, I would probably be worried about a loss. Since it is Thursday, I am going to be positive and call for a Leafs win.

Granted, the slump busters may surrender a PPG or two along the way...

I'm glad Gleason is OK, but that was really a nothing hit. It barely qualifies as a hit.

Kadri with six goals; Kessel with four posts.

All of Kessel's posts immediately buried by Bozak on the rebound.

12-0 Leafs

Your math is broken.

Forgot to list the goals by Gardiner and Holland.

I was figuring Orr with a deuce.

And how many goals?

Get this dub ya.

Geez, they score immediately.  The panthers seemingly always play well at the ACC.
