Panthers @ Leafs - Mar. 25th, 7:00pm - TSN4, TSN 1050

So the Panthers will actually have someone named Samuel Montembeault in net tonight. Apparently Reimer is injured and they want Luongo in net tomorrow night vs. Montreal.

Montembeault, who I used copy and paste to post his name both times, has an 0.893 save percentage in 8 NHL games this season, a 0.901 save percentage in 37 AHL games this season, and a 0.896 save percentage in 41 AHL games last season.

We're going to get pwn'd.

Why are they saving Luongo for the Habs?  This Samuel Montembeault kid is from Quebec and the game is in Montreal, you'd figure it would be a huge thrill for him to play there no?

Luongo was born in Montreal maybe? Maybe Lou wanted that start?

He's played the Habs tons of times and the game is meaningless for Florida.  I could understand if Florida was battling for a playoff spot with the Habs but they're out of it.  I think they should give the Quebec kid the thrill of a lifetime but that's just me.

You're just worried, like the rest of us, that this unknown is going to stone the Leafs! I hear you though, it would be a nice gesture but who knows why. Maybe Lou is "retiring" after this season to Robidas Island.

If Luongo is "retiring" after this season, it will be his last start in his hometown.

I've heard he may have a mysterious skin condition that will prevent him from playing hockey anymore.

You saw through my flimsy reasons pretty quickly.
