Panthers @ Leafs - Mar. 27th, 7:00pm - SNO, Fan 590

If Muzzin is healthy (and not from the concussion) it?s easy to see him improving the defense but who is coming out for Muzzin or Sandin at this point.  I like the game of both Liljegren and Lyubushkin

Why would they blow the play dead?

I?m glad they did.  Right off the bat it looked like his head although I think it was more his shoulder.  I?d rather they take potential hits more serious.  Great contrast between that and the delayed call when Kase was concussed though

Yeah the Kase thing was what I immediately thought of, didn't he skate to the bench without a whistle? I thought the Panther here was getting up... if he was out cold or got up and then immediately seemed wobbly that would have been enough to disrupt what could have been an offensive breakout chance for the Leafs, but I don't think what we saw was enough for it.

Nice stop Mrazek.

He?s been solid.  A few shakier plays earlier in the game but a lot of good saves with no rebound or keeping the puck in front of him instead of kicked off to the open side of the net

Think if everyone is healthy Sandin and Liljegren are both on the outside come playoff time. That's not a knock on them at all though. But at the same time they are prone to a rookie mistake here and there which could be a big difference maker come playoff time.

Is it just me or does Mrazek seem to not flop around when he's actually in the zone? Seems more of a nervous flopper...

I think he thrives in chaos, and when the opposing team isn?t generating any, he makes his own.

Was that K?mpf stuffing Gio?s attempt on the empty net at the blueline, so that they could play it back to Matthews instead? Lol
