Panthers vs. Maple Leafs - Apr. 16th, 7:30pm - TSN4, TSN 1050

Oh well, one more against Tampa, maybe Matthews can do it then.

Tonight's accolades have to go to PKers.  Holmberg, K?mpf for me.

Going to be fun to watch Marchand running around with a smirk on his face for the next 2 weeks. Taking cheap shots at players and seeing nothing getting done about it.

Honestly, man, then don't watch.  You don't seem to enjoy it no matter what.

I haven't been watching a lot of games lately. Barely watched 60 minutes of a game. Only reason I'm watching is for Matthews chase of 70. Combination of seeing the same issues with this team, officiating and overall decline in the game. You guys still haven't seen the overall picture with this team. Told you months ago it's rinse and repeat. If they prove me wrong I'll leave this site. Love some of your guys' optimism.

You are just smarter, and better than all the rest of us here.

Boston? woof.

Just goes to show what good coaching, D and goaltending can do for a team. Bruins lineup is not that great on paper yet they win and seem to go further come playoffs except for last year. Leafs management thinks they can do it with just offence.

I'm not saying I'm smarter than anyone on here. I just don't get how some think that miraculously someone is going to flick a switch and these guys are going to figure out how to win and go deep. I don't care about regular season success. It doesn't mean jack sh*t if you can't go deeper in the playoffs. I love our stars but the goaltending and D on this team is crap. Maybe a new coach is all that's needed to change the way they play because we can't defend. It'll probably be a bit more boring but winning is what matters.

Glad to be in playoffs bring on Boston. No path is easy. I hope the Leafs show grit and not stupidity. It?s too easy to cross check rats in the face. Hit often and hit to hurt. Definitely a better built playoff roster this time around. The grit throughout is unique to this years team.

Really worried about our goaltending and Morgan Rielly playing too much. We need to give all of D meaningful minutes and they need to be deployed purposely. Roll balanced lines and spread the skill and grit and grind them down.

Not concerned with Rielly. Bush is his major concern. There will be a short leash on Sammy for sure. Woll has looked good the last 3 of 4 games, more like himself prior to injury. Wonder who they start tomorrow. Maybe Jones gets the call.

I wouldn't play Lyubushkin (at least to start) in the playoffs. The Leafs have better options.

The right side isn't a strong suit. Who plays with Rielly?

Think playing Boston is a better matchup. Shut down Pasta and what else do they have? Goaltending and D definitely favours Boston against us but personally I think Florida is the better team. See what transpires.

I like Lyubushkin but the less he has the puck the better.

Goaltending is iffy but the biggest issue right now is the perennial one: not able to handle an aggressive forecheck.  Agree that Morgan's minutes need to be limited somewhat.

If the officiating is fair Leafs have a decent chance.

WTF did I just type.

It won't be. Although I don't think they are anti-Leafs specifically. They are just bad and unpredictable. So the refs could make bad calls in our favour and that will help.
