Really good trade for Winnipeg.
 
Been waiting for Winnipeg to start to be proactive.  Nice to see them doing something to help the team now that they may make some noise.

They got semi-hosed on Brassard.

It's a little tricky since Brassard has an extra year on his contract, but that might have worked out for Winnipeg. It feels like St. Louis decided to sell pretty late, and I think Stastny is the better player.

Cheveldayoff really tried to land Stastny a few years ago.
