Penguins vs. Maple Leafs - Dec. 7th, 7:00pm - SN, TSN 1050

Deserved loss....the performances are getting worse. Lazy play by the core there on the PP. too much stationary play and then letting Pittsburgh just close off.

Well, 2 losses in a row is no reason to throw ourselves out a window (well, maybe a first-floor window) but they have got to figure out how to get more offense. There is no way this team should look so moribund on the attack.

Good. Keep dressing 4th liners who provide zero offense. The non-existent depth is glaring. Easy to get rid of Nylander but keep playing Reaves every night. His zero offense is helping immensely

It's two losses but the performance against Nashville and Chicago wasn't good

Is it just me or do they play better without Matthews?
Also seems the last several games that the bounces are not going our way; referring, bounces of boards and goals going in off skates.
In all honesty, can we blame our Goalies for any of the goals against in the last 3 games?
Austin has to show up and lead

Couldn't win a faceoff....

Faceoffs, avoiding puck battles in the corners, not able to get open for shots on the PP. Seems very hesitant. The goals he scored the other night, one was an almost unmissable set up from Marner (of course many Leafs would have missed it anyway), the other rolled off his stick and happened to sneak past the goalie.

Who do you expect to score in the bottom 6? Holmberg...no. A Nylander...no. Minten playing with those 2 stiffs...no and forget the 4th line. With Patches, Domi and McMann out they put Lorentz with 39, 89. Sorry that's set up to fail. Lorentz is a 4th liner. The best guy they got in the bottom 6 can't buy a goal. Well with everyone starting to get healthy changes are coming in the lineup.
