Qualifier Game 5: Blue Jackets @ Leafs - Aug. 9th, 8:00pm - SN, TSN 1050

I do wonder about Keefe's choices tonight.  But I think Columbus won this game more than we lost it.

With all the millions we've spent on offense, we can't score in the most important game of the year is pathetic and completely unacceptable, something must change.

Well, blow up the defense in the off-season and see where it takes us.  I have a feeling we'll be seeing at least one unexpected trade in the off-season.

The Leafs were the better team but this is now four years in a row this young core couldn?t produce and getting shut out twice in this series and struggling all Game 3 is brutal.

I?m still not sure what you do with this team but something different is going to have to happen and Dubas has no room to make big moves.

Well it was fun watching hockey again for a week. Let's hope for the 1st overall. It'll be interesting to see what Dubas does with them.
Feel bad for Spezza and Matthews too. He had a great series.

I can think of a pretty big move that?ll clear up a lot of space.

If they win the draft lottery all kinds of possibilities open up. If not...honestly I'm not sure what they can do.

Seeing as we got no puck luck all series maybe we get ball luck tomorrow night.

That would be funny.

In truth, I am not crazy about watching hockey so out of sync.  As long as MTL or BOS doesn't win it, I could care less who does.

Me too. And I'll bet he's great with an allen wrench.

I agree. I think 1 of the 4 will be gone along with a Kappy or Johnnson. Need to shore up the D.
