Seriously though Keefe has defaulted to overplaying the core 4 and Reilly abandoning everything he?s attempted to do this year. Rinse and repeat.

That whole play started with a brutal play by 44 dumping the puck behind the net and then dumping it down the ice. Not all guys could change, quick up and bad pinch by Brodie and boom...lol

I missed the whole thing and only saw the replay, actually. I should probably be watching the game instead of posting here, but all I missed was Boston scoring. I can live with that. :)
 
A must win game and another dogs**t effort from the core. Almost 50 million of cap space for 4 guys without one ounce of toughness and grit. Marchand runs roughshod over us year after year and our core 4 just sit back and watch.For the love of God hopefully someone is shipped out which I doubt and we will endure another season of this before something gives. This team cannot figure out how to win against tough defensive teams.
 
What's Robertson done? He's just another easy to bump off of it pushover. Dewar looked strong, he worked, created cycles. Team is shit, they're so poorly balanced for post season hockey. Keefe needs to go, Shanahan too. This is an embarrassment.

"Stapling" toughness to the core (Reaves, Bertuzzi, Edmunson, Lyabuskin etc) makes the team look tougher but doesn't address the root of the problem. That should be obvious by now.

What else does he have though. If you go back earlier in the season, there was a lot of discussion of how poorly constructed this team was. There isn't much outside of the core 4 really. And as much as people love Domi and Bert, they really haven't made a difference with 34 either.

Agree, Dewar should have been in over Robertson. Not that it would have made much difference.

I'm already invested so I'll finish this one - but assuming they don't come back, it might be my last one of the season. Unless they miraculously manage to force a game 7 somehow.
