TB
?Andrei Vasilevskiy (34-22-4, 2.65 GAA, .915 Sv%) will start for the Lightning
?Erik Cernak has been ruled out for this game, he will continue to be a big loss on Tampa's blue line
?Some concern for Tampa over the status of Brayden Point, who of course took that big hit in game 3 but was able to return to the game. Cooper said on Sunday that he was hopeful Point would be able to play

TOR
?Ilya Samsonov (27-10-5, 2.33 GAA, .919 Sv%) will start for the Maple Leafs

The Lightning have outplayed us 2 out of 3 games.  They are more vulnerable than in past years but could very well still take the series.  The team as a whole needs to break out much better. And we need to get Auston the same kind of looks Kucherov and Point have been getting.  I don't remember any really high-danger shots from 34 yet.  I know they are keying on him but we need him to dominate more than a shift or two each game.

Great Job CtB, as always.

Finally Leafs stole a game that they were badly outplayed.

But they can't let Tampa outplay them like G3, Pedal to the metal Leafs, smell the blood and go for the kill.

Go Leafs Go!!!

On a side note, RoR and Acciari are making a real difference, loved this move, keep up (and resign them Dubas!)

I think it's very likely Point's injury is bruised ribs.  I remember playing hockey being thrown into a stanchion (in a non-contact league) ribs first.  I finished the game that night (even scored the GWG!), but the next day, I was in *agony*.  I couldn't play for a while simply because it was too hard to breathe.

Granted, I'm sure an NHL team has doctors and stuff to ensure that the bruising/swelling can go down enough to ensure that he could potentially play tonight.  But if I had to put money on the injury, that would be it.

I don't know if Bunting can simply jump back in the lineup, specially the way that Knies is playing.

But we will find that thursday...

That's what I was thinking, too - bruised or cracked ribs.

I find it absolutely hilarious that the narrative now on Twitter is that the leafs are a dirty team and their only chance at winning this series is to injure all the TB players.

Cool.

They?re posting crap like this now:

I am just glad we're not the one's getting injured to date.

Winning a playoff game we shouldn't have was a weird feeling too!

I'm not really sure if I want him back in. Becoming a liability. Definitely would improve the bottom 6. I would play down in the lineup and straight out tell him to play his game without the theatrics and to play smart. If he can't do that then he'll be in the press box. Problem is do you take the chance of him doing something dumb and costing us the game. If so keep him in the press box.

It's the playoffs. Injuries happen. It sucks, but that's just how it is. If any of the injuries were the result of a particularly malicious play, they'd have something to complain about. They weren't, so they're just being whinny whinners.

I really wouldn't pay any attention whatsoever to what some random with 36 followers posts on twitter.

To be honest is fell into a pretty deep Twitter hole since the convoy. I finally deleted my account and my stress level has dropped dramatically since. It?s amazing how narratives on Twitter don?t really exist outside of Twitter.

I?ve only been clicking the links here and seeing those replies about the injury thing.

Hilarious s**t. I've been on this team for years saying we weren't built for playoff hockey. Too soft and now that we are adding pieces with more grit we are a dirty team lol. People are blind and they only see what they want. The hit by Bunting on Cernak was questionable and in my opinion deliberate but that is the only dirty so called hit by the Leafs. TB is chippier and dirtier than us. Excuses is all it is.

Part of me wants Simmonds in the lineup. Haven't liked his game much anymore but be nice to see him in to keep them second guessing from any shenanigans.

Reading twitter replies is literally self-torture.
