R1, G6: Leafs @ Lighting - May 12th, 7:30pm - CBC, Fan 590

I have a new most hated team (for today at least), so sick of hearing about Tampa Bay, they need to be ousted. That result absolutely sucks. Leafs played a great game, I don't have too many complaints about that. I honestly thought they were going to win tonight. Ugh. Hopefully on Saturday.

I really do think if they can win on Saturday it will supercharge them.  The sky would be the limit.

If Jack plays well I think they'll do it.

Leafs played a damn good OT. Just didn?t close it but they all played their guts out. Even Kerfoot after that dummy move. Leafs had some real good chances but 88 is great.

I hope you're right. I absolutely believe that they can beat Tampa. The wild card is the officiating, as we saw tonight.

I was nervous-excited all the 3rd and OT but I can accept anything except for a blowout loss on Saturday.  The series has been back and forth just like you'd expect for 2 good teams.

Call the two calls on Toronto and then let Tampa commit murder all OT
Exactly what I thought
I hope the media don't frame it as "tough playoff hockey". Granted, I have been pretty good at ignoring the media between games after the Tampa love fest between games 1 and 2. :)

It would be hard to take a first-round loss but the core has been good, now that Tavares has gotten himself going a bit.

To me, Giordano seemed like too much of a liability to keep putting out there, too many giveaways and footspeed is definitely a problem for him.  Another deadline deal miss.

Honestly, I don't see any whipping boys this series.

Too harsh. He?s been fine. Great option for PP2 as well

Deadline miss? Don't think so.

I think all four lines have gotten going. Scoring threats were everywhere tonight, really. That is a good sign. Hopefully they blow the doors off the Lightning in Game 7. We will see.
