The Gardiner and Liles pairing scares me. Lots of offence; questionable defence.

Not sure if it's a question of what hand they shoot if that's what decides it but I would seperate these 2 as well as Franson and Fraser who I think are both slow.

I agree, Frattin hits everything on the ice when he is out there...and can put the puck in the net as we all know..What is it with Orr..he is not a future part of what this team will be...Play Colbourne as well...at least Gardner is in. Thanks god.

This team has a reputation of ruining young players. Can't figure the Gardiner situation and doing the same with Frattin. Like you said Orr is not a part of this team down the road. Play the young guys who yes will make mistakes but gain valuable experience. Hated when Wilson was here and RC isn't much better with player handling as far as I'm concerned. Then they give these guys these long term deals. Get a younger coach in here with some fresh ideas.

We don't really have other options that are much better defensively.  At least these two know how to make an outlet pass and move the puck up the ice.

I agree... like who?  Maybe 15 or 20 years ago... or in the 80's, but now i think they do a great job of bringing along their young players

Liles isn't that bad defensively. In a physical battle he will get beat a lot but he knows what to do with and without the puck, knows where to be etc.

Liles runs into trouble when he tries to hold into the puck, but that's not entirely his fault. He doesn't have any support. He's trying not to give the puck away by making a bad pass or just flipping it out.

I love Gardiner, but I'm iffy about him in this matchup.  While on one hand the team can really use a guy with some speed who can carry the puck out of the zone, I worry that he doesn't have enough strength to handle the Bruins offense on D.  The Bruins are a strong, hard-working team, and in playoff hockey they seem to just have their way with the smaller finesse players.

I still don't know what's wrong with going into the playoffs with the lines that got us here in the first place.

Kadri's line should be legally considered cruel and unusual punishment.

And ordinarily I have no problems with Lupul Bozak Kessel, but both Lupul and Bozak are recovering from injuries (let's face it, Lupul isn't quite 100% yet).  Still, I guess I'm willing to give it a try.

Again, I have no idea what to expect in this game.  This team absolutely can win, it's just a matter of how hard they're willing to fight for it.  Stay focused, play hard.

He acquitted himself pretty well in the Leafs win against Boston during the regular season, played around 20:00 I think.

Against the bruins I would rather see O'Byrne than either of them.

Don't agree, we will never beat the Bruins at their own game, we need to use speed and puck movement.  If O'Byrne were to play it is to replace a guy like Fraser however, I like Fraser.  If we remove both Orr and McLaren from the lineup as I think we should, we need Fraser in the lineup.

@HennyTweets: Projected leaf additions tonight: hamilton and  frattin in, macarthur and  mclaren out. O'byrne and gardiner in and liles out. #tmltalk

Seriously?  How does Fraser stay in after that gong-show performance he put on.  That and I'm really looking forward to next year when Orr isn't on the roster anymore.  I just can't see Nonis re-signing the guy.

Cause I'm not nervous...I'm fine.

I was nervous for game 1, now I'm at acceptance level, if they lose they lose, draft and free agency only 2 months away

Agreed on the Fraser point...disagree on the chances of Orr getting re-signed, as I think that it's quite likely at $750K.

I have the peace of mind of the underdog.  A lost series is the expected result;  a series win is a very pleasant surprise.

Although tonight I'm going to be JACKED for a BIG WIN!!!!
