Ref yelling "Look at me!! Look at me"

For those with long memories, Brad Meier (ref tonight) was one of the officials during the Sens / Leafs debacle where Tucker tried to climb into Ottawa's bench.  That game got out of hand because of the officiating. I've watched him ever since and he is not really neutral IMHO when it comes to Toronto.

O'Byrne was our best defenseman that period.

Other than the two glaring errors that led to big time goals, I think he's actually been pretty solid all series long. He's been matched against Jagr and has kept him pretty quiet. Still, those errors are difficult to forget.

True.  Still, as they noted in the game call, he neutralized Jagr along the boards.  Not easy to do, and probably nobody else on our team can do it.

Leafs had a very strong penalty kill again.  It sure helps when O'Byrne is playing well.

The penalty call on JVR was absolutely idiotic, and especially so when one of the Leafs was tripped by Chara just about 15 seconds before the call on JVR.  Anyways  it  was a moral victory for Toronto to end that period in a tie, IMHO.  And the more ice time that Khadri gets, especially on the power play, the better the Leafs chances, IMHO.

I haven't liked O'Bryne at all since we got him but I have to admit he was real good in the first period. I cringed everytime I saw him get the puck but he made a good play each time.

If we have to watch a Visa commercial 20 times during a game, couldn't they at least have filmed two different versions?

Reimer didn't stop the puck when it went around the boards, and the Bruins had the puck in the Leafs end for the next 30 seconds.

The Leaf defence would really benefit from James handling the puck much better, but that just seems to be a pipe dream.....

I've been cringing at him holding onto playable pucks when our best faceoff center is out.  That's got to be something he can learn??

Wow I thought that wrap-around was in for sure  :o

The Bruins look like anything but world beaters here. Leafs have a chance. Lets get going boys!

Kadri looks like he might be ready to break out soon.

GLG!!!

That was a flash of the old Kadri on that rush and almost setup. Hopefully a good sign if he's getting it going.
