R2, G2: Panthers @ Maple Leafs - May 4th, 7:00pm - SN, Fan 590

I really think pairing Tavares with Marner gives us the defensive balance we need.

I?m worried that we can?t shelter Tavares-Nylander well enough.

We don?t need more offense.

Just what I wanted to see.  Bunting deserves another shot at Top 6 and the ROR line needs to produce some offense.

So far these playoffs the Leafs best line has been whatever line Matthew Knies is on...

I'd like to see these forward lines:

Bunting - Matthews - Jarnkrok
Nylander - Tavares - Marner
Knies - O'Reilly - Acciari
ZAR - Kampf - Kerfoot

Play the Matthews line against the Tkachuk line. Putting Matthews with 2 twenty goals scorers isn't a slight. Auston has good chemistry with Bunting and Jarnkrok. Load up that 2nd line.

On the road, yes. The idea appears to be Keefe wants Marner to check Tkachuk, but can?t trust Tavares? lack of footspeed to keep up, and can?t trust a Kampf line without nerfing the top 9.

That?s the way; Schenn with a nice poised wrister into chaos zone. Kerfoot with the clean finish.
