Marner got high sticked with no call.  Refs are absolutely going to call something soft on the Leafs soon

What is it about Florida getting the next PP that you don't understand?

Ekblad puts Bunting into a headlock again because it's funny that the refs do nothing

I guess Leaf fans shouldn't have been chanting We want Florida....cuz, Leaf fans got them.  The hockey gods smiling on the Panthers now.

A few fans were chanting that and a few fans were chanting "We Want Boston" too.

Yeah, but as far as bulletin board material goes, you really need only to show the fans cheering that they want Florida.

I've just always felt that you want to go into a series feeling like you need to give it all to win, to respect the opponent in front of you.  I just don't think that you want to add fuel to the fire and give someone the challenge of proving you wrong.

Why is Knies out? Also, why does it suck to be a Leaf fan. See this second period.

He got horse collared by Bennett in the first period but Florida already took two penalties so the refs are done for the night

Ah yes, the suplex on skates. At least a penalty was called on the play....??

I don't think it has any effect.

I'll be honest, I don't really know.  I just remember the story they told of Gretzky in game 7 back in 1993.  After game 6, Bob MacKenzie wrote a story about how Gretzky looked like he was skating around with a piano on his back.  The story goes that Gretzky took the paper to his agent that morning after working out, put it on the table and said something to the effect of "I'll show them skating around with a piano on your back".  He had 4 goals in game 7.

If you have watched The Last Dance documentary on Netflix, Jordan would flat-out invent reasons to hate the players or the team he was playing.  I just don't know where players get their motivation from.
