Thompson is going to need to steal some games here, but Carolina has a history of coming up small in big situations. Hard series to get a good read on. Washington has the offensive edge, but Carolina has the defensive edge. I think this one goes 7, with Carolina ultimately eking out the win - but, I'm not confident in that call.

Regarding the Caps, they were the Leafs, always stunk in the playoffs, and then suddenly, they won out of nowhere, and went back to stinking in the playoffs. Where's our blip?
