Rangers @ Maple Leafs - Mar. 2nd, 7:00pm - SN, Fan 590

Keefe confirmed Lyubushkin head injury and complained Rempe left his feet

He thought Tavares line had a good night. Jarnkrok had a lot of energy
He thought Nylander responded well to the benching
He felt that line and I guess Matthews line had let ups on the two goals against b4 the 6 on 5
He thought Samsonov had no chance on the 6 on 5 goal and got better as the game went along

What an unbelievable save by Sammy:

I thought the Leafs were the better team last night. I hope Lyubushkin is ok. How that hit wasn't called a charging penalty is beyond me.

Enjoyed the shootout last night. ;)

Always fun to see the Leafs win after getting jobbed by the stripes.

Rules should also try to minimize people having to make judgement calls on intention. Just call every penalty with less than 2 min remaining in OT as an auto penalty shot. Avoids more shootouts. Refs will stow their whistles anyway on most contact plays but delay of game infractions and bench minors are pretty cut and dry.

I wouldn?t be surprised if the refs were unaware of this rule. Whoever was the colour guy kept going on about what a smart move this was for the Rangers, so he obviously didn?t know about this rule as well.

Nothing surprises me anymore with nhl refs.

You can pause that video and then click through it

Rempe's head and body start upward considerably before he made contact - showing that he was sort of jumping into the hit - moving upwards - that the hit didn't exclusively make him go up because he was already moving upwards  before he made contact
Both skates look off the ice before he made contact
Unlike Rielly's crosscheck, he injured Lyubushkin

Where were the refs and where is the league discipline on this?

It's the Leafs so they don't care.
