Oh well, still a great day for Canadian Tennis.  Murray brings home the Championship.

Milos played ok but he does have another level. It was disappointing that he missed so many 2nd serve returns; they were coming in slower than vs Fed, and he was crushing those ones. He also approached Murray's backhand side too often on his approach shots.

But it may not have been enough anyway as Murray was playing at his highest level. Only 12 errors all match and masterful backhands regularly.

Still a great few weeks for Milos and another step in the right direction.

Good effort from Raonic and plenty of time for him to develop his game. Also gave a real classy interview at the end. He just came up against a more experienced and better player at the top of his game.

Obviously ecstatic at Murray winning and with Heather Watson's win in the mixed doubles, Lewis Hamilton in the Grand Prix and our men dominating Le Tour it's been a great day for British sportspeople.

Disappointed but proud.  Raonic loses to home favourite Andy Murray in the 2016 Men's Wimbledon Final:

(Raonic and Eugenie Bouchard (2014 Women's Wimbledon) are the only two Canadians to reach a Wimbledon Final).

Make that a Wimbledon singles final. Daniel Nestor has won 2 men's doubles and 1 mixed doubles titles at the All England Club in 4 tries. Vasek Pospisil has also won a doubles title.

Either way a nice run for Milos. Would like to see that become a run in Rio.
