Matthews seemed disengaged. He's doing a lot of things flat footed, especially low in his own zone. Opposing players are attacking his hands and separating him from the puck.
I know he had a heck of an opening game and has had flashes but I wonder if his wrist is still bothering him. He?s not firing shots off as quick and his ability to control the puck in tight quarters seems off.
