Saw that interview too, made me feel a bit suspicious about the situation. Almost felt as if Wilson was a little annoyed.Busta Reims said:mirtle: Wilson on Reimer's health status: "Last time I checked, I don?t have a medical degree and I don?t think The Monster does either."

Even though Reimer felt fine before yesterdays skate he developed a headache during the skate which got progressively worse.

Reimer hopes to workout tomorrow and see where he's at after that. Docs remain unsure his injury or symptoms are related to Gionta hit.
Not good, if Reimer is out for long it will definately affect our chances of making the playoffs.LittleHockeyFan said:TSN just said Reimer is on the IR and won't play tonight or Saturday, the earliest he'd be back was Sunday and even that was doubtful.

Indeed. Here's Seigels latest report:
http://www.tsn.ca/toronto/blogs/jonas_siegel/?id=379115
- James Reimer did not practice on Friday, but did manage to work out off the ice. Ron Wilson said surprisingly that he expected Reimer to be available on Sunday. That seems hard to believe though. Reimer was off the ice on Thursday and again on Friday, meaning he'd have just one day of practice (game-day skate) to prepare for Ottawa on Sunday. Reimer was placed on the IR retroactive to Saturday, meaning he is eligible to return against the Senators however unlikely that may be. Head coach Ron Wilson declined to offer any update on the nature of his injury.
We may yet see Ben Scrivens play his first game soon ....

That's not necessarily a bad thing. If there's any team that Scrivens could get his first start on against, it's the cream-puff Senators. (yes I know they're playing well now, it's a mirage)

You have to ride Gus every game till Reimer comes back unless he gets shelled by the Penguins on saturday. He's a back up, its not like he has to play 60 games more after this weekend..
