Rookie Tournament Roster

I thought Cameranesi had one more year of college eligibility left meaning that the Leafs didn't have to make a decision on signing him until next summer.

I am sorry to hear about Cameranesi as he was the best thing on the ice against Boston U in the playoffs, just past. A real hustler and playmaker, guess we have about 5 or 6 guys above him on the playlist now.
Just show the talent level needed to make not just the NHL but also the AHL.
I did like his spirit and energy level.

Yep.  Tony Cameranesi and Max Everson officially lapsed out of Leafs property on the 15th.

Cameranesi still has one more year to go before he graduates, I'm pretty sure the rule is the player has to be signed the August 15th after his graduation. So we should still have his rights for another season.

The final roster for the Rookie Tournament has just been posted and J.J. Piccinich and Zach Hyman have been replaced by Nikolai Skladnichenko and Scott Eansor who participated in the Prospect Camp. Is there a particular reason why Piccinich and Hyman aren't participating?

Piccinich has been participating in London's camp prior to this, he probably just got a little banged up or something. Probably the same for Hyman.

Yeah I read somewhere that Piccinich was hurt in London's camp.

I am assuming the Max Everson is now a free agent and no longer Leaf property?

Everson was actually traded to the Bruins for future considerations.
This is the first I've heard of the trade to the Bruins. When did this trade happen and do we know what the futures are?

Happened about a week ago. And, no, future considerations is an entirely ambiguous term. It likely means nothing.

How did the Hockey Insiders miss this one?

Anyone know if there 's a live broadcast of the game tonight against the Sens?

Love to see Marner & Nylander in some exhibition action wearing the blue & white!

Rogers channel 369 HD, 368 SD supposedly.

Here's the forward lines according to Paul Hendrick:

Foster-Marner-Kapanen
Dzierkals-Nylander-Soshnikov
Joly-Gauthier-Rodewald
Timashov-Vail-Korostelev

And here's the transcript from an interview with Sheldon Keefe on Leafs Lunch heading into the rookie tournament: https://mapleleafshotstove.com/2015/09/11/sheldon-keefe-tees-up-the-2015-rookie-tournament-on-leafs-lunch/

Thanks potvin!

For the life of me, I can't understand why only Rogers shows these exhibition and AHL playoff games. Aren't Rogers and ,Bell equal co-owners of MLSE? Why doesn't Bell get their share of these games? I'm going to have to switch over to Rogers soon. Us Bell users and LeafTV subscribers and getting screwed

I'm guessing that the ratings for them don't really interest Bell.

Yeah. Same reason it's on the Rogers local access channel with much lower production value. It's only the real hardcore of hardcores that make a point of watching this tournament.

Where does that leave Leafstv? They show pre and postgame programming for the rookie tournament but not the live game. Does that make any sense?

There will also be a re-run on LeafsTV at 11:30 p.m. if that interests anyone.

Are you still on Shaw? Is it on Shaw anywhere? (This mystery Rogers channel, that is.)
