Ignoring the shot clock, the Leafs might have had the two most dangerous chances of the period.

I remember a few years back my soccer team was comfortably the best team in the league, eventually winning it by a fairly considerably margin.

There were 4 games out of the 38 game season against our historic cross town rivals. Everywhere we went we battered everyone. Except these guys. They finished mediocre mid table. Lost more games than they won. But four times in the league they beat us. And on every occasion they deserved it.

For whatever reason we just couldn?t work out how to even get a draw. Same in the cup. Another loss.

I wonder if Ottawa are going to be THAT team for the Leafs this year.

This guy is smarter than me. I understand the spirit of the rule is to prevent goalie injuries but that puck wasn?t frozen/covered and is in play. You are allowed to knock the puck with your stick. Ergo, puck going into the net off a non-high stick is a goal.

Just tuning in, what did I miss? Stats certainly don't give the impression that the Leafs came out in beast mode.

I feel like the Leafs are playing scared.  They're paying to not make a mistake.  Hopefully, a goal will go to their legs.
Playing scared against the worst team in the league. Think about that for a second

I can't justify this in any way but I don't think so.  Just my gut speaking up, which it usually doesn't (unless I tie into a jalapeno by mistake).
