Game Notes
SJ
-Alex Nedeljkovic will likely start for the Sharks
-20-year old Macklin Celebrini, despite missing 2 games due to injury, continues to dominate the NHL with 11 points in 6 games so far this season
-2nd overall pick Ivan Stenberg has a solid 2 goals and 6 points in 8 games in his rookie season
TOR
-Sergei Bobrovsky will likely start for the Leafs
-The Leafs have lost 3 straight games for the first time this season, so we'll see if that leads to any big changes with the line-up
-One possible (albeit minor) change could come via forward Vinni Lettieri who appears to have been called up from the Marlies (not official yet). The 31-year old Lettieri has 9 points in 5 games in the AHL this season and has 155 NHL games under his belt but none with the Leafs yet
Streams

Lettieri is on the Leafs roster
So I guess that is official

I did not notice anyone removed in a quick glance
3 on IR
No one on LTIR is on their roster
Tavares went on the IR on Oct 17th

EDIT: Puckpedia
Oct 18, 2026MovesLettieri was recalled from AHL Toronto on Sunday, Joshua Kloke of The Athletic reports.

Does the franchise give a shit about its fanbase....nope. I'm not paying an extra 36 bucks on top of cable to watch my team. A great way to lose fans.

Lettieri unsurprisingly called up.

AA somewhat surprisingly called up. We'll see if the Leafs have bolder plans here but this is likely just so he can back-up Bobrovsky tonight while Stolarz heads to Columbus earlier in the day in preparation for tomorrow's game. The Leafs and other teams started to do this a little more often last season.

Leafs PP units at skate

Raddysh, Matthews, Marchenko, Roslovic, McKenna

Rielly, Blankenburg, Cowan, Paul, Lettieri
(Mark Masters)

This is probably his most common way of goal scoring
NHL Edge has clocked his slapshot at nearly 95mph
Team throws the puck into his skates and he one times it.
You see lots of guys do that but he seems to be able to get a higher percentage of his shots through. (obviously accuracy plays a part)
Not a bad choice to have on the 2nd PP

He gets to about 72 percentile NHL speed on that play while carrying the puck around defenders. His NHL Edge peak is just under 23mph

Sissons is about as quick and McKenna faster.

The part I liked about him was that he plays smart with effort in the other end of the ice. He's Lou Nanne's grandson.
Might be his last cup of coffee. Hope he makes it count.

Never heard of them sending the goalie early before.

Pretty sure the Leafs did it once last season, and I know other teams have been doing it a little too over the past couple years especially the ones who were carrying 3 goalies on the roster already. It's a good idea I think, just not always possible to have the roster and/or cap space to bring up a 3rd goalie sometimes.
