It's corporate attitudes like this take make me glad I don't own a PS3.
 
That is unbelievable. How can you ask your consumers to automatically let you off the hook any time their info is hacked? Is this even legal?
 
To be fair there is the opt-out but obviously 99% of people won't go to the trouble.

Still, have to admire it in a sort of modern way.
 
I resent the new terms of service since they are outright bullshit but I know I'm not going to sue psn, I'll just never put my credit card info on there so I'll probably just update it and forget about it.

You better also give fake address details and use a password that you don't use anywhere else.
