I think generally speaking you want your team to have two goalies you're confident in and who are competing for the #1 job but that issue is going to be addressed via internal development. Nobody the Leafs could afford on the UFA market is going to become that #1B.
And, really, regardless of whether or not the Leafs could afford that kind of goalie, what they'd probably sign for would be too much to pay for someone who ideally would start 30 or fewer games in a season.
