Stanley Cup Final: Boston vs. St. Louis

I'm not a St Louis fan by any stretch of the imagination but I effin' hate the Bruins SO much. The officiating and the broadcasting have both been so pro-Boston this entire series, it makes me wanna hurl. For them to whine over that non call last night the way they did makes me wanna just slap each one of them (or, perhaps taking a page from Marchand, the most disgusting critter of all, lick....nah, I couldn't). But I was actually yelling oh stfu at the Booins last night. Just effin' stfu.

go St Louis! :D

Bruins take it to a seventh game, back to Boston.  Defeat the Blues 5-1 in Game 6 in St. Louis, thanks in part to Rask:

Oh St. Louis.  You are just repeating Leafs history here, except you don't have any interesting players.

Dear Boston Bruins and your fans,

Here's an equation for you to ponder:

2 = 31

Have a lovely summer!

Pretty cool story for Patrick Maroon. Took a relatively cheap 1-year deal with St. Louis in the offseason because he wanted to play for his hometown team and ends up winning the Cup with them.

Congratulations to the Blues...50 year?s in the making!

Tyler Bozak, Toronto Maple Leaf fans are happy for you!

Sorry, Boston Marchand, but karma isn?t cute.

It's hilarious how many people are overjoyed that Marchand didn't get to celebrate.  Says a lot about the guy and how annoying he is.  I usually try to stay away from schadenfreude, but in this case...nahh

Has a team ever traded a player who immediately won the Conn Smythe award the season he was traded away like O'Reilly from Buffalo?  I know Leafs nearly did with Phil, I mean a lot of people felt Kessel should have won it in 2016.  Any other examples?

Roy (01) and Nieuwendyk (99) jumped out but both of them won theirs a few years after getting traded. Niedermayer (07) won it in his first year with Anaheim but that was via UFA not trade of course (edit: 2nd year actually, his first was listed with the "MDA" team name and it looked close enough to NJD at a quick glance hah).

I don't think the Blues could have won without O'Reilly. I also don't think the Sabres would have won with him.
