I get that but I honestly think we have some weaknesses on this team

DO YOU? HOW FASCINATING! YOU HAVEN'T MENTIONED! WHY NOT DETAIL THEM FOR ONCE?

You've heard them before. So no use repeating them because you just shoot whatever I say down anyone so you figure it out.
You're the expert.
LMAO this is the first time you declined to repeat yourself.

Don't laugh too hard.

I understand they want to "get Freddy going", but as I see it, he hasn't been for quite some time. Have to wonder if we'd have seen a different outcome if Campbell had been given the nod.

Campbell has only played 3 games he's not suddenly a savior. You mean Andersen has never played 3 good games in a row before?  Yes he's been off but Leafs need him to get back into a groove the last 20+ games

Andersen and only Andersen has been the reason why the team has made the playoffs the last 3 years. Team MVP plain and simple. This year not so much but team will only go as far as he takes them.

I don't know. I might have rode with the guy who's in somewhat of a groove and in game shape and given Fred the assignment against a lesser team on Saturday (the Turds)

Well we?ve been pretty lucky on the injury front last couple years but this year has been a different story. Now Johnsson.

Okay, deadline cap space and now Kapanen and Kerfoot are safe from trades.

Sounds like several folks on the team were under the weather, so maybe it wouldn't have mattered.

And azzurri, you are right, our injury luck has run out.

Johnsson
Andersen
Rielly
Mikheyev
Muzzin
Dermott
Hyman
Tavares
Marner

all out for multi-game stretches.

haha forgot about Ceci

Absolutely not. You don't do that to your #1 coming back from injury. Bad message.

He's a big boy. He can take it.

Even if he had just one of the two, then we may have got a point or won in OT.  Didn't see the game so just going by the reports.

I get that Andersen could of had goal 1 and 2...BUT, they were complete defensive miscues.

Agreed. They were also basically 1-on-1 situations. You need your goalie to stop those, but, more than that, you need to not let them happen, as they are high percentage chances. If the skaters do their jobs right on those plays, neither of those plays result in goals. They weren't Andersen at his best, but they're also definitely not all on him.

Agreed but still, Bishop was far and away the better goalie. If we get Bishop level goaltending from Freddy were not even having this conversation.

Sure. Bishop played very well. The Leafs had the puck much more, had more scoring chances, etc. He was the better goalie last night. I don't think anyone's really questioning that.

Ah ah ah.  You didn't start your statement with agreed.
