That Sterling's an idiot, or that racist old white men still exist in the world?Nik the Trik said:Which sounds bad, I guess, but it doesn't really address the underlying problem.

That if you play for the Clippers you're still working for Donald Sterling.

Right and bravo to them for the recommendation, I suppose, but the brass tacks of this decision is just turning Sterling into an absentee owner. There's a value in him not going to games but like I said it's not really the underlying issue.

Nik the Trik said:Well, I'll say it: being disappointed that the Raps didn't get the Wizards in the first round was a misreading of the situation.
Potvin29 said:I know it's consistently called, but why is it a shooting foul when a player is knocked on a 3 well after releasing the ball? Maybe I've always thought incorrectly that a foul is called because it is contact in the course of shooting and could affect the shot. If it's already been released, why do you get a foul shot?

In general, if you make a bit of contact after the ball has been released it won't be called. However, if you basically run the guy over after the ball has been released (see Amir's 6th foul last night) its going to get called every time.
