Interesting that Hyman had 1g 1a, and no votes.  He trends out to a 60 point pace this season, and of those 34g, if his pace were over a 82 game season.  5 MotM points awarded thus far.

I only caught glimpses of the game, so I can't really say, but is herman threatening ridicule at those not voting Nylander having too much effect?  Is this an abuse of power situation here?

Marner has 48 points in 39 games, and has 9 "points" in the industry respected Mr. T MotM awards, trailing Justin Holl, another herman property.

Come on sheeple.  Let's not let this turn into the Grammys.

MotM: Hyman.  Scores and made a whole bunch of defensive plays in the 3rd to preserve a lead.  Mature.
HM: Marner.  Beautiful 2 assists.

Props to Matthews, Andersen, Johnsson, Ceci, Sandin, Muzzin.

Hyman (what a workhorse) HM Matthews

Mentions to Marner, Johnsson, Barrie, Sandin, Andersen, Muzzin, Engvall, Nylander, even Ceci (was decent)

Demerit to Holl (needs to learn to pinch less, especially when we're leading)

Matthews
Marner

Mentions to Freddie, CC, and all the D. Hyman would have been HM if he didn't take that dumb penalty. Team played well.

Hyman
HM...tough one...a bunch of guys could get the nod...think I'll go with Marner just for the ridiculous pass he made to set Hyman's goal up.

In the Preds game his goal was a fluke...he swatted at a puck in the crease, it would have gone wide but hit the skate of a D and ricocheted into the net. I don't remember the assist at all...maybe a generic 2nd? He was just his usual Energizer Bunny self but not anything above and beyond his normal. Tonight he went the extra mile with a decent goal and some great, timely PK work.

I just have to say that post was vintage Frank.
