Badass.

The Ricktatorship has begun
I don't understand Rick's wife reaction, if she's that upset then maybe she should take Rick's offer and try it on her own! Anyone familiar with the comics can give me a hint as to what that was in the forrest with two armless walkers on the chains?

Her name is Michonne, and she's a ninja lawyer.  Not kidding.

I think her reaction was perfectly understandable - she's frightened by what Rick has become.

Rick was forced to deal with the situation Shane gave him and every decision he has made has been for the good of the group. The law of the jungle dictates their herd has a leader, an alpha, and Rick never asked for it but he was the best suited. They owe Rick their lives not their disgust or doubt.

It was in certain ways but I thought it was a little too much considering she was kind of egging him on to deal with it at one point and, well, in the end it was kill or be killed like she'd been worried about. Maybe she didn't realize the full scope of what that result might mean. ( also, hearing what her son did was probably a shock )

That's easy to say from the sidelines, but, when you're face to face with it, seeing someone you love change so dramatically, seemingly overnight, it's not all that easy to process.

Especially when they change into a Zombie.

Rick knew he was going to have to deal with Shane sooner or later. Even if Rick talked Shane down, he'd have been walking around with a target on his back. Lori's reaction was understandable but in the sense that I think she feels responsible for it, and because she's a selfish, manipulative (insert multiple expletives) she's taking it out on Rick.

I hope bad things happen to her next season. She makes Shane look like the freakin' Pope.

She should blame herself. Earlier in the season she is telling Rick he's going to have to kill to protect his family. Then in that episode she tells the mentally unstable Shane that there is a possibility that the baby is his. Sure she didn't mean it like that and was more just trying to apologize. But you knew he wouldn't take it that way.

I don't usually have this kind of feeling about tv shows but I'm anxious for the new Game of Thrones season.

I finally reached Book 5 and can safely say that I have absolutely 0 interest in Season 4 if they go 1 book/season.

Too boring?

This is a South Park question. I can never remember when the new episodes air, so I haven't caught one in a while.

Did they ever address the whole Tebow thing going on with the Broncos (and soon the Jets)? It seems to be something that would be right in their wheelhouse...although it also might have seemed like too easy a target.

They do 6-7 new episodes begining in late March or early April and October, Tebow-mania didn't really get ramped up until after last october's set of episodes were finished. Now it's probably too late in this current run for a tebow episode.

It would seem that way, but, these guys have been known to crank out a new episode in a matter of days if they feel the subject matter warrants it - though, I have my doubts they'd consider Tebow worthy of that.

Too late, as in, the material is no longer fresh.

Well, dude mentioned the trade to the Jets.  I don't really follow it, so I don't know what kind of comedy could come from it, but that happened fairly recently, right?

And to tag up on what busta said, I watched a short doc on the making of South Park episodes, and they start writing a new episode like 5 days before it airs.  It's crazy how fast they go from throwing around ideas in a room to a finished product.
