It was two plays that stuck out to me, the Schenn moment and Chara being wide open in front after Lupul blew a tire/refs missed a call that was a real difference on the score sheet.
And Gunnarsson's bear hug that led to the five on three. Not a good penalty to take there.
Krejci just blowing past Bozak to jam Horton's toss in at the goalmouth on the second goal.
Pouliot alone in the slot on the PK with a partial screen and he delivers a peanut butter shot.
Any one of those might have been stopped by Gus - some requiring a darn near miracle. But I don't think any of them represented poor goaltending by a NHL goalie nor do I think the majority of NHL goalies would have stopped any of them.
I had much bigger and basic issues with the coverages or the skaters on all of those goals:
- two Bruins free to bang away in his goal crease
- two Bruins clearly open in prime slot real estate and they both deliver very good shots
- one 5 on 3 side door
Those were top quality scoring chances given up courtesy of the Leafs skaters.
