Time to End the All-Star Game

Thought that this was a pretty cool article about how common stick-trading is amongst NHL stars: http://www.tampabay.com/sports/hockey/lightning/steven-stamkos-sticks-and-souvenirs-an-nhl-all-star-story/2263311

There's a Jagr bit at the end that was particularly funny:

Jagr said he's getting a lot more requests this season, his 26th in the NHL. "People think I'm not going to play anymore," he said with a grin.

Jagr, who doesn't collect signed sticks himself, said the reason he doesn't give many of his own away is because he spends 15-20 minutes of work on each one to make them game-ready. "It's not easy," he said.

When told that Stamkos hoped to get one of his sticks during All-Star weekend, Jagr chuckled.

"He better have a lot of money ready."

Gartner had to start from a stop on the redline, Larkin started at the blueline so he already had speed when the clock started. Apparently Gartner got a 12.9 when he started from the blueline.

John Scott scored on his first shift...and lays out Kane with an open ice hit...and gets into a fake fight.  Good show.

And a pretty nice 2nd goal as well.

Oh look, Rogers/Strombolopoulos sucking up to Bettman.  I miss the old antagonistic Ron interviews.

If Ron wants to act tough with someone who regularly gets his facts wrong, he's got a great opportunity every Saturday night.
