Link to the stream of the Leafs top 100 players list. Starts in a minute or two.

The only name I think doesn't necessarily belong on the list of the 100 best Leafs of all time is Domi, though, I get why he is - he was a fan favourite, and a high profile player. I just look at the other guys on the list, and I see almost all highly skilled players, with, really, the only other exception being Tiger Williams - but even he put up some 20+ goal seasons. Would definitely have preferred someone like Zezel or Marois or even Berezin there.

I know Keon wasn't from my era but I'm having a slightly hard time seeing a guy with 858 points in 1062 games as the best Leaf of all time.  That and when you take era adjusted scoring into account his numbers don't go up.

Domi was 100% going to be on this list whether we liked it or not.

I'd have put Kessel higher, but again, I get it.

Sundin should have been at least top-3.

With all seriousness, Ponikarovsky should be on the list instead of Domi. To say nothing of Antro.

It probably should have been Sundin or Sittler but I'm guessing that, along with the plethora of old-timey names on the list, a connection to Stanley Cups was a big factor.

I think the list was compiled by a lot of the media. Basically, a lot of people fall in love with the players that played on the team when they were young and just discovering the Leafs/Hockey.

I'd definitely put Sundin in the top 3.

McCabe and Potvin seem low.  I'll go ahead and say it, I think Clark is a little high.

It's depressing that it's been so long since anyone on that list contributed anything on the ice that was meaningful.

In my lifetime (35 years old) the only names on the list that I have meaningful on ice memories of include: Domi, Ellett, Mogilny, Belfour, Tucker, Roberts, Thomas, Potvin, Andreychuk, Joseph, Clark, Gilmour and Sundin.

Ok, I'll bite. In a brief web search, I couldn't really find the criteria behind the list - but what is it about Domi that doesn't warrant consideration? He was a very prominent core player and fan favourite in an era of the enforcer.

He was a 4th liner who never cracked 30 points in a season. Of all of my takes, this is possibly the coldest.
