Toronto Maple Leafs 100 - Live Stream

Here's hoping we see more than a handful of the current leaf players on the list when it's updated in a few years time! Wouldn't it be nice to see 2 or even 3 of them in the top ten?

My money's on Matthews, Nylander, Rielly & Marner all breaking into the top 30 when all is said and done.

Really, really well done. We're simply not used to having nice things!
All the numbers that were up in the rafters are now officially retired.

Gonna blame the fact I had a few beers last night so am feeling delicate today, but there were a few moments I felt a little bit of grit in my eye during that, Turk Broda's daughter's reaction and Keon in particular. Great ceremony.

Shanny strikes again! Alums were asked to show up to witness the raising of their new-looking banners but never told their number would actually be retired until one hour from game-time. Really allowed for a lot of genuine emotion.

A one-hundred year-old franchise had only 2 retired numbers before Saturday. Well overdue and yet another example of the new regime getting it right. Reminds me of when Cliff Fletcher arrived in '91 and immediately started rolling out the welcome mat to former Leaf greats, starting the process of eradicating decades of foulness and Ballard decay.

Thanks man, I had to miss it last night.  A very classy ceremony.

Salming is still freaking awesome.  So is Johnny.

And I never get tired of seeing that smiling picture of Barilko ... and now Mats too.

Has anyone mentioned why Sundin wasn't there?

I know Kabs represented him, but was just curious.

Him and his partner are expecting a baby very soon (or may have just had it).  Saw it mentioned in another thread yesterday, but am too lazy to find the quote.
