We have enough depth to hopefully steer him away from all defensive responsibilities. He plays less then any other of our top 9 forwards. He is very much sheltered. I don't think he will necessarily walk. He has been cast in dream role here and I am sure he is aware.Strangelove said:The thing that bugs me most about not moving JVR, besides the fact that he's a one tool guy whose value may be at its peak, is that he may well be a liability in the playoffs. I still recall how abysmal he was defensively against Boston in the first round years back. There's little reason to think that would change this time around, and his puck-tipping skills are not enough to compensate.
