Hope it's something in nothing.

I don't understand how professional athletes whose only job is to be in great physical condition can have several months off under the supervision of doctors and training staff, and yet still start camp injured. Some people really are made of glass.

Before a large scrum, Paul Ranger went around and introduced himself to all of the media with a firm handshake. Why? "It's respect."
Paul Ranger brings huge amount of class. Having so many yougsters on the team, good to have him around.

Here's a couple of articles about Ranger that are very well done. I don't think they've been posted anywhere here yet:

And here's one that was written about a year ago when Ranger joined the Marlies. It looks a little at his career prior to leaving Tampa:

When Ranger first joined the Marlies I was very excited. So I couldn't be happier now that he's getting a chance to make the big club.

Many of us "drift" in our 20s, but what we really do is probe, experiment, try to figure out who we are and might be as adults. In elite hockey, there's no chance for any of that. He just needed unstructured time to explore and find out what he wanted.
