Willy and Dean Evanson both mentioned this in their post-game statements.

This is a good illustration of ?gravity? in John Tavares pulling in the extra defender to give Willy far more room to operate than normal. Leafs fans see the excellent move and finish; Wild fans see the brain cramp defense and lack of communication.

The Wild coach was disappointed in his defense?s showing tonight while they await news of Jared Spurgeon?s preseason injury prognosis.

I expect they will be much more steady next time we meet them in Sweden.
