1 Vancouver Canucks vs 8 Los Angeles Kings

Quick is going to cause fits for the Canucks shooters, and L.A. has way more talent than they displayed in the regular season, but I think this just may be Vancouver's year.

Canucks in 6.

The Kings still haven't reached that next level and the Canucks are still pretty good.

Vancouver in 6 (unfortunately).

I'll be rooting for LA and I also think the talent level on both rosters is pretty similar, but I'd be surprised if Vancouver doesn't come out swinging, take an early series lead, and then put the stranglehold on them.

Vancouver in 6.

The Hollywood series, for want of the many celebrities seen at Vancouver and L.A. Kings games during the season.  Celebrities aside, can L.A. get into both Schneider's and Luongo's heads?
Or, will Jonathan be too Quick for the Canucks shooters?

Luongo and Schneider have provided Vancouver with the goaltending backbone they needed to finish first overall in the league, while the offence led by the Sedins and co. did their jobs in putting plenty of black discs in opposition nets.
Question is will the Canucks power play come to life, and, will Daniel Sedin be missed should he sit out this series (due to concussion)?

L.A. has a roster full of young players, Kopitar, Doughty, Brown, Quick, etc.  Speed, sniping skills, and goaltending all favour the Canucks.  Can L.A. match?

Sounds like Daniel Sedin won't be playing in game 1.  His dad told a Swedish journalist that: "(Daniel) not yet fully recovered. It would be unwise for him to play now."

No word on if Tomas Kaberle's father commented.

What about Reimer's Grandma? Or was it his mother?

They should ask Reimer's mom for a full pathology.

Here's hoping Quick can stone the Canucks enough, and the likes of Kopitar, Richards, Carter, Willians, and Doughty can put enough pucks past Luongo and/or Schneider to steal this series away from Vancouver.
