1 Vancouver Canucks vs 8 Los Angeles Kings

And the Oscar goes to . . . Ryan Kesler for whatever the hell that act was that got him out of a goaltender interference penalty and got the Nyucks a goal.

5:00 in - Canucks get away with a blatant goaltender interference.  How wonderful.

The only thing I could think of on that Burrows goal was that Kesler got the butt-end of Quick's stick in his face on the way around. It didn't look like as if he was cutting into the crease.

Carter just made a sweet kick/deflection pass off his skate to Penner who put it past Luongo with a little over 3 minutes left in the third.  Crossing my fingers they can hold the lead!

Weird, I was JUST coming here to post this.  Didn't think anyone else would have seen it!

Got a good laugh out of that.

Go Los Angeles!!

Don't really like them but I hate Vancouver more. Nice city, rotten hockey team, too many obnoxious fans.....wow, sounds like another place.

Dumb. Guarantee that bites them in the ass

Precisely what I thought of when I heard about it.

Best suited to tweet after the series, not Game 1.

LA was going to have a very tough time winning the series anyways.  If they lose it'll be for a multitude of reasons, not a freakin' tweet having any impact.  Nor should it be anything other than a lighthearted jab at stories that have come out lately about the Canucks being disliked.

If a player had said it I could see how Canucks players might get upset about it, but sheesh, the reaction is almost as funny as the tweet was at the time.
