Bring up both Sandin and Lily and let them get used to the NHL (unless there are some waiver/contract/future expansion draft issues I'm not aware of). They're going to be playing major roles next year so might as well get things moving in that direction. Sorry MM, you can go back to 7th dman.

You can't start selling everything off because of injuries and being in a position of weakness. I think Dermott will be with Holl and Sandin with Barrie. I think at some point I'd like to see them bring Liljegren up and be Sandin's parner like it is on the Marlies. Muzz is the key right now though. If he comes back, things could settle down pretty fast.Hobbes said:

This way when Muzzin returns he can slide back to his pair with Holl and the others don't get mixed up again. Sandin gets eased in a little more, throwing him up to the Barrie pairing at this point in the season would seem like a little too much. If Kapanen or Mango can be the key piece in a deal that upgrades the blue line longer-term, and potentially shores up the backup goalie situation, you have to consider it, regardless of the current injury situation.

I never said anyone did. The trade the Leafs need to make 1st is for a back up goalie, not a D man. We're not getting a top 2 guy Dman anyway because we simply can't afford it unless Rielly isn't coming back until the playoffs.bustaheims said:

With Johnsson back there was no need for 2 extra forwards. He's only played 11 games with the Marlies this season so hopefully he has a good second half there and comes into camp next year ready to go.
With that said he really didn't do anything in the 3 games (and limited ice-time) to impress me. He was supposed to be a guy who could throw his body around and I never really saw that.
