At that point in time I thought Kappy could replace Hyman. Not anywhere near Willy. Kappy at half that cost would be a great pick up.bustaheims said:Bill33 said:Lol, that's Anthony Stewart for you.
It was a terrible take when he first posted it.
He took the ?no brainer? part of the initial tweet too literally.
Leafs really can't afford Kerfoot's production either. Of they can move him at the deadline, I wouldn't be upset.bustaheims said:Dappleganger said:Alexander Kerfoot: 26 points in 59 games. $3.5m.

Leafs: 80 points in 59 games, 2nd in their division
Pens: 63 points in 57 games, 5th place in the wildcard race.

I preferred Kappy because of that speed and PKing ability. He was also a better hitter. Neither could cut it too 6 though.OldTimeHockey said:Guilt Trip said:At that point in time I thought Kappy could replace Hyman. Not anywhere near Willy. I'll be the first to admit that I always liked Johnsson better. I found Kapanen to lack hockey sense. Fast as heck, but no vision.

Kerfoot is way more versatile than Kapanen. Kapanen doesn't have it between the ears in comparison.
