About time. He's been awful on the mound and as a human being.

He had a 1.54 ERA last year

You have Bowden Francis stretched out to be able to throw 80 pitches and you open with Richards and Mayza who both pitch well....but then you let Francis only throw 33 pitches (while going 2.2 IP) to rush Cimber into the game who has just not been a good pitcher and follow it up with the terrible Mitch White who has not remotely deserved to be on the MLB roster (8.61 ERA with a 1.87 WHIP in the minors)
Just bizarre management of the bullpen.

Don't disagree with any of that but the Jays just need a few more capable arms in the bullpen. Also, Jays should have had Bowden Francis start.
And plagues and locusts.OldTimeHockey said:As much as people have been wringing their hands about the Jays, they've quietly put up the 6th best record in baseball at the midway point of the season. Crazy to think they've done this with suspect pitching, subpar performances from some of their top hitters, a sub .500 record against teams above .500 and poor record in their own division.
