2023 Blue Jays thread

Anthony Bass.......................

Pretty poor social media usage by him. Almost impressively insincere non-pology, too.

Pretty unimpressed with the Jays response as well, I think.

Jays with a Kevin in CF seems to do the trick

Schneider is really making some interesting decisions this year.  Pearson, Swanson and Romano were not available from usage.  You have Bowden Francis stretched out to be able to throw 80 pitches and you open with Richards and Mayza who both pitch well....but then you let Francis only throw 33 pitches (while going 2.2 IP) to rush Cimber into the game who has just not been a good pitcher and follow it up with the terrible Mitch White who has not remotely deserved to be on the MLB roster (8.61 ERA with a 1.87 WHIP in the minors)

Just bizarre management of the bullpen.

Don't disagree with any of that but the Jays just need a few more capable arms in the bullpen. Also, Jays should have had Bowden Francis start.

Schneider is over managing
He is a meathead
Hire Ted Lasso to fix this mess and bring the owner of Richmond with him

It?s so Toronto to finally be at least competitive with if not just outright better than the Red Sox and Yankees? only to have also been passed by Tampa AND Baltimore.

As much as people have been wringing their hands about the Jays, they've quietly put up the 6th best record in baseball at the midway point of the season. Crazy to think they've done this with suspect pitching, subpar performances from some of their top hitters, a sub .500 record against teams above .500 and poor record in their own division.

And plagues and locusts.

Yes, my ire was not directed at the Blue Jays being "poor", it was annoyance at Baltimore being good :D
