Better night for the bullpen, but Berrios had a tough second inning...at least the bullpen kept things together yesterday.

I really like Berrios, and I keep hoping that he'll put it together. That said, I assume he'll be the starter dropped when they "shorten the bench" for the playoffs.

What does moving Lauer to the bullpen do for the Jays?

Gives the Jays a "long-man" out of the pen. Always nice to have a couple lefty relievers as well. Little hasn't been cutting it.

As bad as the bullpen has been recently, Schneider’s bullpen management might be worse.

Yankees blew a lead late. Noone can be trusted in the bullpen. Guerrero's at bats are starting to look dangerous again so hopefully he can finish the year strong. Ty France was such an underrated pickup. He's been fantastic with the Jays.

Also, that's been demonstrably not true. He routinely takes guys out when there doesn't seem to be a good reason. For instance, there was no real reason to take Nance out on Wednesday. He came out because there was a lefty coming up, but, if you trust your guys in any situation, that shouldn't matter. Nance has been one of the few reliable guys in the pen. Leave him in to see if he can get that last out. Instead, it took 4 guys to get the last 7 outs.
