I've been married for 41 years.  I'm extremely lucky to have a wife that doesn't have a fetish for shoes or jewelry!    ;D

However, she's got... well you know!  :P

He has issues but he's clearly able to produce.  He's a .66 PPG player in 154 NHL games, 1.25 PPG in 391 KHL games.

Yeah. He's probably not a guy I look to lock up long-term, but a one year experiment with the potential to deal him for some quality assets at the deadline if can be productive? Sounds good to me.

And who knows, he wouldn't be the first player to spend some time in Europe and mature.  I mean, Jagr is the prime current example of someone who was not thought of as a great teammate but is now lauded for it and for his work ethic.

According to tsn he's confirmed that he's going to play in the NHL next year.  Poile says it won't be with NSH and he's willing to trade his rights.

I could be wrong, but I doubt Radulov is coming to league with cap in hand, like a Mike Richards experiment/1yr contract. I'd expect there'll be at least a few teams willing to offer substantial multi-year deals.

Maybe, but, given his history, it wouldn't surprise me if there weren't any real long-term deals on the table, and if the multi-year deals are a little on the cheaper side. Teams are going to be a little tentative to commit to a guy who's run back to the KHL twice already. The Leafs might be in the best position to pay him what he's looking for this season, and give him the opportunity to A) show he's worth what he's likely looking for and B) that he's serious about being in the NHL for more than another cup of coffee.

I just have a hard time thinking that with multiple off ice issues that led to him going back to Russia that Lou and Babs will even give him a second thought.  They need vets that will be the best kind of influences for the young'uns.
