Nice of the media to turn up the "value" of Bozak. To be fair he's doing a good job on his own, I think not seeing every teams shutdown pair on a nightly basis is helping with that too.

Babcock has pressed him to improve his play without the puck.
?I?m a big believer that you can play real well without the puck (rather than) have the puck all the time and always be on offence,? Bozak explained it as breaking bad habits, such as playing it safe when the puck gets rimmed off the glass rather cherry-picking for a potential odd-man opportunity. ?For me, I?ve always kind of been a guy who cheats a little bit to offence,? he said. ?I think a lot of guys do growing up. When you?re getting points playing at earlier levels you don?t get exposed as much doing things like that.?
