McClement not on the ice for the morning skate.

mirtle: McClement is awaiting birth of his child and missed morning skate as a result. "Hopefully it comes quicker than later," Carlyle says.

Sounds like he's a game time decision.

Geez, Leiweke, think outside the box and put the birth live up on the Jumbotron so McClement  can play.  McClement's happy, fans of babies are happy, mom can watch the game on the TV during labour, it's a win-win-win.

This is a clear winner in his attempts to get fans back into their seats for when the period begins.  What could go better with their sushi?

Somebody mentioned on twitter that the lockout ended 9 months and 2 days ago. Hmmmm.

So...she got pregnant right after he left to go back to work?

Hmmm indeed.

4-1 Leafs.

PS I think the radio feed is 590 for tonight's game.

Thanks, you're right. They don't seem to list the radio feeds in the NHL.com previews like they used to so I got a little lazy and just assumed the TSN game would be on TSN 1050. I'll keep a closer eye on those in the future.

I think this will be a close one. The Leafs have been lucky to win the first three, and the giveaways will catch up to them sooner or later.
5-3 Avalanche.

Or the lockout ended because McClement's wife got pregnant?

Semantics.

Anybody else with a Mac out there who's having problems getting the TSN1050 radio feed to work?  (I realize tonight's game is on 590.)  Any insights appreciated.

Yep.

Don't buy a Mac.

You probably have a really long Starbucks order, you don't feel the need to shave often, and enjoy many different genres of indie music?  Am I right?  Huh?

That was predictable.  Thanks for checking in from Redmond.  :P

Depending on the age of your Mac, you can download an app called Tunein Radio or Pocket tunes. Great apps for newer Macs, iphones, and iPads

:-( it's working fine for me.  I just used  http://www.tsn.ca/Toronto/listen/  and it came through fine.

I don't have a Mac, but I have used an app called ooTunes from the app store on both iPhone and iPad that works great (I live in Seattle) for picking up both TSN and Fan590.

On a side-note, I would propose McClement's wife be induced at center ice during the pre-game ceremony.  Only one anthem to sing tonight so they should have the extra time to make it work.  A Leaf win AND the miracle of child birth all in one night!

Go Leafs!!  8)
