Connolly - Soft player, with loads of skill. Average skater with accurate shot & pass. At this point, a PP specialist who is vastly overpaid

Although some people think of Connolly for his offense, he's also served time killing penalties.  Yes he was 6th in power-play time among forwards.  But he was 2nd among forwards for killing penalties.  In Buffallo, Connolly was 7th/4th/4th/6th/5th/5th among forwards in Penalty Killing ice-time.  Considering he was injured allot, a big part of his game when he did play was killing penalties.

Leaf Forwards Shorthanded - Total Ice-time.
(McClement  248 -for interest sakes, throwing McClement's Colorado stats in the mix as well.)
1. Steckel 174
2. Connolly 118
3. Crabb    105
4. Kulemin 105

Penalty-killing time per goal scored against:
(Jay McClement 3:06)
1. Dupuis 2:26
2. Steckel 2:17
3. Connolly 1:41
4. Crabb 1:34

Although Connolly isn't the 1st line center the Leafs need, he does his job well enough in various roles to always have a spot on the roster.

Easier to trade than the Con man but Tim is good on the PK.  I still think Bozak could develop into more points.  Its a coin flip to who I would trade first.
