Bruins @ Leafs - Dec. 8th, 7:00pm - LeafsTV, TSN 1050

What a monumental collapse of the PK.

It's as if the book is out on them now. The rest of the league has got the drop on them or something.

The Bruins just surgically picked them apart.

I see Clarkson has replaced Grabovski in another way - nothing that's done against him gets called as a penalty.

Clarkson has a right to complain about the broken stick. He was going to use that stick to score a goal.

Kind of tough to say that when both goals were immediately preceded by the Leafs having perfectly good opportunities to clear the puck and being unable to get the puck past the blue line. If you can't clear the puck I'm not sure the formation matters too much regardless.

mirtle: That's 12 goals allowed by Leafs PK in the last eight games. Unreal how much they're struggling there.

mirtle: Now 13 goals. 2-1 Bruins as Krug rips one in.

mirtle: Leafs PK has killed only 61.8% of opportunities in that span. PK down to 77% on year, fifth worst in NHL.

That's Wilson-era penalty killing despite having two goalies in the top-10 in save percentage.

Taking too many penalties too.  Coming into the game with 4th most minor penalties in the league.  Last season they had the 14th least taken, and under Wilson were never worse than 12th least taken.

On one of the failed clearings - I think the one that led to the 2nd goal - the Bruins did a really good job of blocking any avenue of clearing the puck. I'd like to see it again but it didn't look there was much the guy could do.

Shockingly enough, Kulemin's plan to go through the defenseman as if he were a Coachella hologram didn't materialize into a scoring chance.

If you mean the Raymond one then his big mistake was hesitating which gave the Bruins the ability to fill those avenues so, again, he could have made the play.

Well this looks more like the garbage Leafs that we are used to.  Complete no-show in the 2nd.
